One Eye. Three worlds
Begin the conversation
Our Story
I began on the water and I have never quite left it.
I work from the coast between Cannes and Monaco, near enough to the ports that is a matter of minutes, and the light in the late afternoon is the reason half of European painting happened here. Between charters I paint. That is how I came to know the gallerists between Nice and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and how I learned that the two worlds want the same thing from you. Patience. Judgement. The willingness to say no, not this one.
So Open Seas & Skies does three things under one name: the boat, the days around it, and the paintings you take home. Not because it makes a tidy proposition, but because I could not honestly separate them.
I don’t take many clients. I answer my own telephone.

Why We Exist
Access is now cheap. Anyone with a card can get through the door. What cannot be bought is judgement, knowing which boat, which week, which painting, and which of them to talk you out of. We exist for the part money can’t shortcut.
How We Work
One point of contact, accountable for everything downstream: the vessel, the crew, the table, the picture. A standing brief on each client, so preferences are known rather than asked. Nothing sub-contracted that we would not put our own name to.
Where This Goes
To build the reference house for yacht, art, and cultural life on the Côte d’Azur, and then to take the same standard to the two or three coasts where it is missing.
“ Nobody remembers the nautical miles.”
Meet Arinze Orizu
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Arinze Orizu is the Founder and CEO of Open Seas & Skies, bringing a background in luxury client relations, strategic sales, and international business development. He holds an MBA from EDHEC Business School with a focus on strategy, sustainability, and global markets.
Beyond business, Arinze lives in the worlds he curates. A passionate sailor and regular regatta participant, he brings a working understanding of life at sea — its performance, its precision — to every client itinerary. An avid visitor of galleries and cultural institutions, his eye for contemporary and classical art shapes OSS’s advisory practice as much as its brand. A marathon runner, he brings the same discipline to both.
He founded Open Seas & Skies to reimagine yacht brokerage and concierge services through a more human, culturally intelligent lens.
